I'm not really doing NaNoWriMo, because trying to do it during the semester is... well, insanity!  However, I think I might see if I can do some random writing goals this month.  I wrote a paper tonight, so I think I'll count that word count.  Now my brain is wrung out.  I need a vacation.

I don't know what it is about being in the semester that makes it so hard for me to update regularly. Maybe because a lot of my life become monotonous routine. Still working immunohistochemistry at the internship. Classes are trundling along. My sleep is all messed up. Still wrestling with life decisions. All that good jazz.

It's been a nice little weekend trip. I left on Thursday afternoon and drove down to the DC area to spend the weekend at a friend's house. It wasn't anything big -- mostly just hanging out (including one utterly doomed attempt to buy a fan). Nice and relaxing. Did some homework yesterday, which was very, very dull. I'm unprepared for my biochem exam tomorrow.

I'm not sure that my studying is actually imparting any knowledge to my head.

I'm really looking forward to going down to DC for the weekend, although I'm going to have to do some homework while I'm down there.

The last few days have been quite long. Monday was long for a good reason, though, since I got to hang out with r_ness and try New Haven pizza and such. I've been sleeping very, very poorly of late. Tending to wake up partway through the night with the need to visit the facilities - sometimes needing to do that twice.
